What is the
Kendall Employment and Education
Program?
The Kendall Employment and Education
Program (KEEP) helps youth prepare for
jobs, find good jobs, and overcome
obstacles. KEEP can help youth in
planning for a career, in making an
educational plan, and by teaching skills
to keep a job.
What are the
eligibility requirements?
You need to have all of these
requirements:
- Be 19, 20, or 21 years old.
- Live in Kendall County.
- Meet income guidelines or be an
exception to income guidelines.
Plus, you need at least one of these
factors:
- Be a high school dropout.
- Be pregnant or be a young parent.
- On probation, on parole, or have
other dealings with the criminal justice
system.
- Physically or educationally
challenged.
- Homeless.

employment credentials if needed
- Counseling when needed, including
drug and alcohol abuse counseling
- Coaching on how to apply and
interview for jobs

from the Workforce Investment Act. Youth
must qualify for program based upon
federal Workforce Investment Act youth
barrier and income guidelines. Equal

Directions from the intersection of
U.S. 34 and Rt. 47: Go south on Rt. 47.
After crossing the Fox River, turn right
at the first stoplight which is Van
Emmon. Turn left at the next street
which is Main St. Go up a steep hill and
turn left at the second street which is
Ridge. Then turn left into the parking
lot close to the Historic Kendall County
Courthouse, (the building with the tall
cupola on the roof).
KEEP is located in the lower level of
the Historic Kendall County Courthouse.
Enter the building by coming to the
entrance underneath the front steps and
go to the Regional Office of Education:
